Before Your Appointment: What to Have Ready

• Lab Order or Kit – Bring your provider’s lab slip or the specialty kit you received.
• Government ID – Required for patient verification.
• Insurance Card – If the lab will bill your insurance.
• Fasting (if required) – Follow your provider’s instructions (commonly 8–12 hours).
• Hydration – Drink plenty of water unless told otherwise; it helps with an easier draw.
• Comfortable Spot – A chair with good lighting and space for our supplies.

Do you bill insurance?
Insurance billing is handled by the laboratory that performs the testing (such as LabCorp, Quest, or participating local laboratories).

Matheaven provides a mobile concierge blood collection service, which is typically a separate service fee for traveling to your home, office, or care facility.

However, if your lab order is processed through one of our partner laboratories, the mobile collection fee may sometimes be reduced or waived depending on the arrangement with that laboratory.

Can you provide lab orders?
Matheaven does not issue medical lab orders. You must have a valid lab order from your healthcare provider or a specialty testing kit.

Our role is to provide professional specimen collection and secure delivery or shipping to the laboratory for testing.

Can I order my own lab tests without a doctor’s order?
In some cases, we can assist with self-pay laboratory testing options through our partner laboratory ordering system. This allows individuals to purchase certain lab tests directly, similar to other direct-to-consumer lab services.

No. Matheaven provides specimen collection services only. We do not interpret laboratory results or provide medical diagnoses.
